Deal or No Deal
Broadcast Snipe
On-air broadcast snipe motion design for Deal or No Deal, produced for NBC. Built for the high-speed demands of live broadcast environments with tight timing, clean hierarchy, and motion that lands in seconds.
On-air broadcast snipe for Deal or No Deal, produced for NBC. A single-asset deliverable with a high constraint: the graphic had to read in seconds, compete with live broadcast energy, and reinforce the show's identity without overpowering it.
01 / Challenge
The Problem
Broadcast snipes have almost no margin. The graphic runs over live programming, has a fixed on-screen window, and needs to land show identity instantly. Every frame has to earn its place.
02 / Approach
The Process
Built the motion around readability first, then identity. Established type hierarchy and animation timing calibrated for live television, where the snipe competes with whatever is happening on screen behind it.
03 / Execution
The Work
Delivered a broadcast-ready snipe to NBC spec. Clean type, deliberate animation curves, motion system that reinforces the show's identity without pulling focus from the broadcast.
